Very well tempered horse. He does not spook easily. The horse is quite smart or just plain loyal. If a stranger tries to ride him, he wont budge, only letting familiar riders like his owner steer. He loves apples and grazing in grassy places. He does well with crowds and does not need blinders. His good nature does not affect his willingess to put forth lots of work effort when needed.
